Eternal Echoes How-To Guide

Handling & Transporting Your Plaque

Your plaque is made with care and craftsmanship. To keep it in pristine condition:

  • Keep it in the original packaging: The materials included are designed to protect it from chips and scratches during handling and transport.
  • Do not stack items on top of it or place it loosely among other objects.
  • Handle with care: The surface can chip if dropped or scraped.
  • Transport securely: Place the original box flat in a padded, stable area—avoid tossing or shifting.

Caring for Your Plaque

Keep your plaque clean and elegant for years to come:

  • Use the included microfiber cloth to gently wipe away dust or smudges.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners—no harsh chemicals, alcohol-based sprays, or rough materials.
  • Indoor display is recommended unless your product was specifically labeled for outdoor use.
  • Maintain a consistent indoor environment: Avoid placing plaques in areas subject to extreme heat, cold, or temperature fluctuations, such as fireplace mantels, window sills, or near vents. These conditions can weaken adhesives, cause warping, or damage the finish over time.

How to Affix Your Plaque to a Hard Surface

Your Eternal Echoes plaque includes Tesa Gold Line double-sided tape for secure mounting on smooth surfaces like walls, stone, wood, or metal. To ensure a long-lasting bond, please follow these steps carefully:

  • Clean the surface: Use isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a clean cloth to remove dust, oils, or moisture from the mounting area. Let it dry completely before proceeding.
  • Apply the tape: Peel the backing from the adhesive tape already attached to the back of your plaque.
  • Position the plaque: Carefully remove the release liner from the exposed side of the tape. Align the plaque with your desired mounting location before making contact.
  • Press and hold: Once aligned, press the plaque firmly and evenly against the surface to ensure good contact.
  • Let it set: For maximum strength, allow the adhesive to cure for at least 72 hours. Avoid repositioning or applying stress during this time.

Tips for Success:

  • Avoid cold surfaces: Adhesion may be reduced if applied to surfaces below 60°F (15°C).
  • Apply firm pressure: Use both hands to apply even pressure across the plaque when mounting.
  • Indoor surfaces preferred: Unless otherwise specified, plaques should be mounted in indoor, dry environments.
